Great rooftop vibes, but the stairs were steep for my dad.

The views from the restaurant on the rooftop are striking, offering glimpses of the Ganges that can’t be beaten while enjoying meals. The unique decor in the rooms adds a personal touch that feels more welcoming than standard places.

Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. rooms were dusty, towels were worn out, and there were noticeable mold issues on the walls in the deluxe room. The wireless internet struggled to reach parts of the room, and hot water was notably absent during the stay, which could be an inconvenience for some. The confusion over room bookings created unnecessary stress, leading to a higher than expected cost for the stay.

The location is ideal, just a minute's walk from the ghats, making it easy to explore. The rooftop offers stunning views of the river, perfect for relaxing over meals. The owners create a warm and homely atmosphere that made me feel safe and welcome during my stay.

I had an awesome time at this place! The rooftop restaurant had some tasty curries and the cozy massage spot really helped me unwind after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the room could've used a bit more cleaning, but it didn't take away from the overall charm. 😊

I stayed here for 2 nights, and the staff went above and beyond helping us with luggage and transport. One of the owners, Shiva, arranged a sunrise boat trip for us on the Ganges, and it was incredible! !

It wasn’t inexpensive, but definitely acceptable for the experience.

I had an amazing stay with beautiful views of the Ganges from the rooftop while enjoying delicious meals. the ghats are literally just a minute away, making it super easy to explore the vibrant life of Varanasi on foot.

The Deluxe Double Room was cozy and clean, with a super comfortable bed. I loved the hot water in the shower—definitely a plus after a day out! The decor gave it a nice vibe too. One downside was the noise from the street, especially during the day. But at night, it was way quieter, which helped for a solid night's sleep.

The Shiva guesthouse was a delightful experience! The owner's enthusiasm for cooking was evident, as he prepared some of the tastiest meals I've had during my travels. Plus, the rooftop restaurant offered stunning views of the Ganges, a perfect setting for enjoying breakfast while monkeys entertained us. The location couldn't be better, just a minute from the ghats!

While the buzzing noises from the nearby streets can be a bit disturbing during the day, the comfortable rooms and great shower facilities add to the experience. The location is central, making it easy to explore, though navigating there with luggage requires some effort.
